All right, since some of you Imed or commented to me about what the hell is Pokegirls. I will now give my long and short of it explanation of Pokegirls. I'll leave most things insinuated since I out right don't want to weird people out. But I hope most of you get the picture.

In the shortest way possible for my to explain Pokegirls, I say it is an entire genre of fanfiction that is devoted to female humanoid pokemon that need to be tamed by youthful young men (and some women).

Now for a more lengthy explanation on origins and general facts.

This genre was created back in the hey-day of the American Pokemon release. There were many versions of this style of writing. The origins were mostly furry fans that liked Pokemon and created RPs about humanoid pokemon. A popular name for these were "Pokemorphs" and many people had much fun drawing cute pokemon humans and RPing them or writing fics on them. There aren't that many that are still going, but you can find a few if you google it.



Of one of the furry nuts, a few started a "write what you think should happen" Pokewomon Addventure. http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure/game1/docs/047/47382.html that is the start of it all and is owed to the creation of The changeling who started an entire thread of "fuckable" pokemon. From this a few notable names in the lemon writing communities and RPers came and took notice.

One of the most well noted was Metroanime, also known as Tuxedo H, and regarded as Gregg by people that are old enough to remember his days of writing. Metroanime was a large Ranma 1/2 fan, and his thoughts of the addventure were, "Hey, I'd like to write this into my own story." This led to the creation of Wild Horses and Pokegirls, the story of Ranma getting his ass handed to him via a crossdimensional shift which sends the martial artist into a post-apocolyptic(*) world full of pokegirls. This fic was published on a variety of locations that accepted Lemon fanfiction.

People liked what they read and started looking at the addventure. Back then, there was only the addventure to establish new write ups of new girls, and they became hard to sort in the ever growing thread. So people decided to create a forum for the fans. This developed into the Pokewomon Delphi forums. The forums had lots of bugs, and the overall style was annoying, so people decided to move to the yahoo groups.

The new and central hub of the Pokegirl community was made, and since some people became lazy to log onto Yahoo, an even NEWER forum was made.But the new forum was found to be full of spyware and popads, so after a bout of about a year or so, everyone migrated back to Yahoo. Some still remain on the old forum, but they just dust off the place and then direct people to Yahoo.

As the fan base grew, more and more people took interest in writing fics for us. The famous Gorgo of the GA wrote for us, and unfortunately quuit out of harsh restrictions on his creativity. Hamster wrote for us, but after being found guilty of plagerism, he hasn't written anything. Persona whom is a writer in Argentina is also an old writer of ours. Others include teachers, college med and law students, hillbillies, and even the occasional angry Nintendo lawyer. So it's a diverse community to say the least. This brought out many different styles of writing, from angst, to comedy, all the way to PWP stories.

The diverse number of people brought discussions on economy in the simulated world, geography, psychological habits, politics in cities and countries, and the occasional rocket science of a satelite in orbit.

Course, now we got about 3 flamers, 1 missing mod, one mod phasing in and out, and a number of yes men thrown in the mix... Everyone else tends to lurk. So we usually argue over the same things over and over again now a days... I miss the good old days...



So now onto the actual world settings of how the world works.

The basic background story of the genre is that a mad scientist had created a race of killer monster girls to punish humanity for what it did to him. The war got out of hand, but the humans won by a very slim thread. Of the estimatable number of 5 billion humans, only 50 million, probably less remained alive in the world. The main story (Wild Horses and Pokegirl {WH&PG}) of the universe kicks in 300 years after the war.



First, what happenned 300 years before. In the late 1980s an arrogant college student devised an idea for trans dimentional travel. He thought the idea was pretty cool, course, not many people wanted to shove him money to realise his improbable dream. He still managed to scroung the money through industrial espionage and devised the portal. His name was Jim Sukebe. Yes, I know, his name means pervert.

The portal led him to worlds that were obviously much more advanced than his own. He came back to earth with inventions that he down graded and sold off for profit. He made lots of money, and he became a reknowned scientist.

Of course, with fame, the press followed him. A reporter by the name of Linda Mckenzie infiltrates one of his Mansion/labs to get an inside scoop on the life of Sukebe.

The reporter had no idea that Sukebe had created his own servants with the alien technology. He, being a man of 20 or so was of course in his prime, and what any primed genius would do, he created FEMALE servants. He used the DNA of animals and created his own private servants and security to protect and take care of his well being.

The first generation of girls were not designed for search and destroy, or patrolling. They were human with exotic features at best, and thus they had no chance to stop and capture Linda for stealing research and snapping photos of the girls.

Once the photos and research was released, the media went mad. They labled Sukebe as a mad misogynist. He was shunned by humanity, and the police was ordered to take him into custody for crimes against humanity. Sukebe excapes by a few hairs, but with the expense of his beloved original creations. The loss of his loving family he created caused him to go mad.

Within a year, Sukebe had erected his first army. With a variation of 15 or so girls that were based on the first generation. This generation were the first true pokegirls with the biology and needs of one. These lab grown girls were sent around to create their own strong holds and bases around the US at first. They attacked people with guerrilla tactics starting around 1991. The attacks were to drag in new "recruits" for the army. Men were of no use and killed while women and girls were forced into submission and then genetically altered to fight for the monsters.

In 1992, the full scale war begins. A massive legendary girl by the name of Typhonna attacks Africa and consequently sinks much of Africa that was on the equator. The guerrilla style tactics turn for a more bloodier and more frequent attack pattern. The governments around the world recognizes this as a world-wide threat that must be stopped at all costs.

In 1993 a sickness hits and further incapacitates the world. The world wide epidemic seemed to be just like a case of the flu; however, after more thorough evidence was released, a new horror was realized. The flu devastated the women's ovaries and made them thus, infertile. This made reproduction VERY hard. The human race was on the verge of collapse even if they win against the monster girls.

The overall use of Nuclear weapons proved to be useless. The legendary girls were too strong to be taken out by the blasts, and anymore nuclear explosions threatened a nuclear winter. This combined with the fact there was no cure to the flu made many people start to distrust the modern sciences that had helped them along. The lack of help and further screwings they recieved from them led to a massive boycott of technology and anarchy commenced.

However, in 1996 a Canadian soldier rescued a monster girl that was injured in hopes of learning something from it. The two put together in a small cabin led to the discovery of taming techniques. The new way to subdue girls and turn their loyalty against their masters led to a quick spin on who held power in the war. The humans started to take the monsters and turned them against their former comrades.

Combined with Typhonna disappearing for reasons unknown, and certain pokegirl tribes raising the white flag in exchange for safety, the humans were on their way to victory. Finally, in 2002,with one bloody and massive Lord of the Rings like battle in the San Fransisco Bay Area to the central valley, the major showdown came in a D-day like invasion. This time however, the humans invaded from the coast. They secured the bay and proceeded to pinpoint the location of Sukebe. Once pinpointed, a nuke was launched, and Sukebe is presumed dead after such a blast.

What followed was a slow climb up humanity as civilization had been pretty much decimated. Dangerous legendaries either retreated to disappear off the map, or where slowly defeated one by one by the now building forces of the army.

The war had taken a major toll on human civilizations though, and many changes occured. Most international trade and communication had been destroyed. This led to most countries or even cities and villages to become their very own country and fend for themselves. Where government still had a grasp on the people, the new territories were no longer called countries but leagues. The leagues were created from a council in the now defunct UN that used to handle the war efforts.

The biggest change was the acknowledgement that pokegirls were needed as a means for survival. Though regular taming with a pokegirl produced no byproduct besides undying loyalty, a second puberty was underwent by pokegirls at about 30 years of age to turn them into Pokewomon. As a pokewomon, a taming may cause pregnancy. It was further discovered that these pregnancies led to the birth of humans AND pokegirls.

With restored hope, a baby boom of pokegirls came into being as human males and females were born into pokegirl families. People thought that the human race was yet to be saved.

This of course was all before the discovery of threshold. In 2081, or by then 79 After Sukebe (AS), a young human girl by the name of Olga Stanner experienced a painful metamorphosis over the period of a week or so. She became a catgirl, and later died in an attempt to cure herself of the disease. After that, more cases arose, regular human girls with pokegirl lineage started to undergo threshold at the age of puberty.

This was the beginning of a majorly opressed hiarchy of humans and pokegirls.

Pokegirls sat at the bottom are feral and live in the wild, they are also the useless or dangerous ones were regarded as inhuman, such girls like Snorlasses, Buzzbreasts, and Widows were either not very popular, usefull, or otherwise a menace to the well being of humans and pokegirls alike. Then abve that were the workers that could use their skills in industry or public service, this included Nurse Joys, Officer Jennys, and Magmary who all had skills that could be used as public servants or slaves in industrial jobs like smelting, sewing, and others. Above the work horses were common or popular pets kept by people who wanted a companion, the most common can be taken as Growlies, Kittens, and Boobsaur who are not overly hogs for attention, but make a good pet and companion for a cozy home, or a welcoming face in a restaurant or shop. But most of all, the most accepted in general are the domesticated girls that have intelligence and are most likely of threshold origin.

Then the humans. Humans with pokegirl attributes known as blood gifts and blood curses were a step above pokegirls but not that far off. Some with surprisingly strong talents of ESP or skill ascended to become famous people in the society as slayers or adventurers. These blood gifts range from affinities to certain types (making them well liked by pokegirls of a certain type), all the way to being able to mimic some attacks of a pokegirl (i.e. breath fire, secrete poison, teleport).

Next up are the general mixed blood girls and boys who are still human. These are the average Joes and Janes that live in the world. These are the average tamers in the world.

Tamers are adventurers that go out into the world to capture and tame feral pokegirls to keep population in check, and some may even act as mercinaries or errand runners for locals as they travel. They are encouraged to catch more girls and tame them for a tamer rating and the training to enter tournaments. Most are young males of 18-30 at most. After the youthful years, most sell or donate their girls to a ranch to be given to new tamers, or are kept around as family. It is common for tamers to marry their alpha girls as a wife and raise a family with them.

At the top is the pure blooded humans. They are the few that remain with no pokegirl blood, or mixed but at a VERY small percentage with no trace of pokegirl ancestory for generations. These are the people that sit in suits and consider pokegirls as horrendous monsters. They hold power to the leagues and control the world from behind the black screen.

This setting gave way to revolutions by the pokegirls that were much like a whole nother fight for women's rights, racial equality, and homosexualrallying all rolled into one. Some strong caring people pushed forward for equal rights, while others still considered pokegirls as sources of labor rather than anything.

The fight seemed to have been going well. Police kept a stiff eye on protesters, but they made peaceful progress. Some smaller community like areas had abolished most social barriers and lived in equality. Trust was higher amongst themselves until 248 AS when Mao Shin Mao starts a rebellion of pokegirls. These girls on an insane march started another war between humans and pokegirls. The war was costly in both lives and trust. Even after Mao's defeat, several groups branched out to keep fighting, and the general public views of pokegirls once again became lowered. A slow recovery has been continuing since.

That would be the basic history of the world



As a final spurt, I will name needed to be noted terms and explanations.

Tamers first get their Pokegirls from a ranch. These ranches are run by indivisual owners with a breeder license. They sell girls to tamers and pet owners alike. Most girls on a ranch act like they are in a collective. They share the work of living and supporting themselves there and keep each other tame.

There are three types of license. The smallest is a pet license which only requires a small test to know of general care. With a pet license, up to 3 girls can be kept. A breeder license is a license with no limit to the number of girls a person may own. However, they must pass a rigourous test and must agree to the terms of selling the girls they raise to tamers or pet owners when needed. Finally a tamer license is needed for 6 girls and additional tests are required for extra storage space to exceed 6. THe difficulty of the tamer's test is disputed as acutally being a test or not. Most questions are basic knowledge and only a complete idiot would fail the written portion. The catch to all the tests, however, is the fact that a psychic type scans the minds of the test takers to make sure they won't be threat through their mental health.

There are gyms spread out throughout the world, and most are there to help train tamers in their journy. The gym leader is usually a retired tamer that applied for a breeder license and then built a gym to generate some extra income. The gym leaders recieve a salary from the league to keep each league run gym running, local gyms are usually supported by the people who attend it by the means of odd jobs.

After the general abandonment of technology, a slow come back has occured. People devised more nature friendly transport such as a clean natural gas hover car, and balloon ships. Most harmful and or dirty technology is either considered lostech, or forbidden tech.

Finally, this is my rendition. I'm a mod, but there are other people that would argue some of what I say here. So don't come and complain to me when you find out something's incorrect.
